Hi to everyone!

Today I’m going to talk about two videos that I watch recently.

The first video is a scene of one of my favourite series: Two and a half men. This series is about Charlie’s life when his brother Alan divorce and goes to the Charlie’s house to live with his son Jake (Charlie calls potato’s head). This particular scene is very very funny, because it passes in the first or second season of the series (when Jake was a child was funnier) and describe a dialogue between Jake and Charlie about a cap that have Jake. I found this video looking for funny scenes of this series.

The second video is from another series: The big bang theory (another of my favourite series). This is a very funny series (I think one of the funniest series of these days) that show the life of two young (not very young) scientific: Dr. Sheldon Cooper (a very particular person with social problems) and Dr. Leonard Hofstadter (a person with problems to relate with women). As well, they have two friends scientific: Howard Wolowitz (who lives with his mother) and Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali (an Indian student that can’t talk with women, only if drink alcohol). The scene that you can watch shows the personality of Sheldon and one of the funniest words: Bazinga!

This is for today; I expect that you watch the videos. I can assure that you are going to laugh a lot.

Bye!

Music and Languages

Hi to everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about two things that I like to learn (and sometimes I start to learn, but I think that you never finish learning of all things). These two things are the music and the languages (except Spanish, obviously).

About the music, I try to learn one instrument: the piano. When I was child (like 6 years old) I started to learned how to play the piano with a particular teacher, that every week was going to my house and he taught me to play this musical instrument (in an electric keyboard) until I was eleven years old. After that I was going to a musical academy to learn to play the piano in a more serious way, but that didn’t work and I left the musical academy.
Now I play the piano sometimes (nothing very difficult), but I forget a lot of the knowledge for play the piano.

The other thing that always I’d like to learn is about the languages. From I was child I have a lot of facility to speaking (and learning) English and besides another languages (I suppose that, because I never try to learn another language that is not English). For this reason I always like to learn Italian or Germany language, but I never try this, less now that I’m in the university and I do a lot of activities apart from study. I think that someday I try to learn another language.

These are the things that I like to learn or I stopped to learn.

Hi to everyone!

Today I’m going to talk about a few of websites that I visited everyday and these are very important to me. The first website it calls “futbol24” (www.futbol24.com) and I discovered recently, but I knew that exists from the last year. This page is about all leagues of football in the world, and has all the matches of the leagues (has the scoreboards of the matches), so is very useful to know how is going the matches that the different leagues of other countries in the minute (it’s very precise). Like I say, this website I knew in the last year, because a friend visited frequently, but until a few weeks I ask what is the name of the page and now I visited always. I like very much, because it can say all the matches that you can imagine,

Another page that I visited always is called “La Chispa” (www.lachispa.cl). This page is about a magazine that I belong (I’m of the editorial committee), and this publication have a paper magazine (the last year we publish 3 numbers and this year we going to publish 4 numbers). A lot of people from different faculties from “Universidad de Chile participle in our magazine”, (for example: INAP, ICEI, Salud, Derecho, etc.). The topic of “La Chispa” is about student policies, so we write about education, history, culture, student movement and a lot of others subjects (sometimes we write about national policy). The vision and the line of the “La Chispa” is frame in the left tradition (revolutionary), but showing a difference with the traditional politics parties and with the “progressivism” and we take a position with radicals and deeps changes in the system and society (like in the education).

I invited you to visit our page.

This is for today, Bye!

Hi to everyone!

Today I’m going to write about one of my favorite bands of music. This is very difficult, because I listen a lot of different type of music and I don’t really know what my favorite band is. But, these days, I’m listening (a lot) the argentinian band called “Bersuit”, obviously they sing in spanish.

This band is one of the best rock bands in Argentina, I think. Also, they mix the rock music with another kind of music, like cumbia or ska. This band was formed in 1987 and almost of the founders members are still playing, but the principal voice (Gustavo Cordera) leaved the band in 2009, and they are not the same without Gustavo (always I listen the old albums or concerts).

I like very much this band, because the lyrics say a lot of reality and take critical view about the things that are still coming in the present. I think this critical view are express in the song called “Sr. Cobranza”, one of the most famous song of Bersuit (this song is not of this band, actually, the original song belong to “Las Manos de Filippi”). Another song, who is my favorite, is “Toco y me voy”, that talk about the beauty of football and all the tricks of the good players in this sport, also the music is very good, because is rock, but more slowly (in the rhythm) that the normal rock.

I hope that you listen this band, because is very very good.

Bye bye!

PS: This is the video of the song "Toco y me voy", the video is not alive, but have a lot of tricks of thebest football player of all the times: Diego Maradona

My little bird

Hi everyone!
This picture that you see up there, it's me and a little bird (yeah yeah, sure) took hold of my arm. I think this picture is very funny and I want to share with all of you, also represents a very good time in my life.

This picture was taken in the summer of 2010 in Peru, in a valley called “Colca”, nearly to the city of “Arequipa”. That summer I traveled with my girlfriend (she is my girlfriend now, too) around Peru and Bolivia all the month of February. This bird (like an eagle) was from an old man who lends this animal for takes pictures with it, and he charge a tip for that. Obviously, my girlfriend took the picture; even she took me another picture with the eagle place in my head (with a hat in my head).

In the picture, we have been traveled only for a 2 days, so we were beginning our travel. After that, we going to Cuzco and known Macchu Picchu, that was very spectacular! And then we known the Titicaca Lake and is very huge!

Like you can think we were known a lot of places and cities, but those histories are for another post.

I hope you enjoy this picture!

Bye, bye.

My laptop

Hello to everyone again!

Today I’m going to write about my favourite piece of technology.

My laptop is one of the most important pieces of technology in my life; I think without that I can do anything. The reason is kind of using a lot of activities like: read books, articles and the news, working, listen music, watch movies, save important information and a lot of more things. I like very much because contain a lot of things and information, and I always use it to watch movies, read book or articles for study, play videogames and eventually lose the time.

My laptop was a gift from my mother when she in 2009 going to USA and buy me this computer more cheap in New York, is certainly a kind of gift for start the university. Now, my laptop is a little oldie, because have a few problems with the battery charger and with the memory (I have a lot of music and videos).

I use very often my laptop for everything, when I came to my house I turn on and can stay in it for a lot of hours. My laptop could be come in a vice, because I use all the time.

This is for all!
Bye!
